God speaks to us in different ways, especially through the Scriptures. He speaks to us through the works of His creation, through the Holy Spirit, through our own experiences, and through others He has touched by His grace. Following are some life-lessons He imparts to us…
Today I will be handling all of your problems.
Please remember that I am the Lord. I do not need your help. But, I want to help you with all my heart because I love you.. If life happens to deliver a situation that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it on your own. Kindly put it in the SFGTD file: Something For God To Do. All situations will be resolved… but in My time, not yours.
Do not hold onto whatever is aching you by worrying about it or by re-threading it through your mind like a broken record. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life today. Remember, I am your heavenly Father. I’ll take care of your needs and, in Me, you will find rest for your soul.
If you find yourself stuck in traffic, do not despair or get upset. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege. Relax, enjoy the moment, and know that I am with you.
Should you have a bad day at work, count your blessings. Think of the people who have been out of work for years. Yet, your heavenly Father takes care of them.
Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance, think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity just to walk. Help always comes to those who trust Me.
Should you find yourself at a loss, pondering what life is all about? Be thankful! There are those who didn’t live long enough to enjoy the opportunities you take for granted.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities, remember things could be worse. A lot worse. You could be one of them! But, you are one of the chosen, called by name, to let God light up your life.
Should you decide to share this with a friend, better still. You may have touched another life in ways you will never know!
